Best Papers to TCC Special Issues

IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing (TCC: http://computer.org/TCC) is organising a Special Issue which encourages submission of revised and extended versions of 2-3 top-rated papers in the area of Cloud Computing from our conference. The special issue also seeks direct submission of papers that present 'new' ideas for the first time in TCC. All papers will be peer-reviewed and selected competitively based on their originality and merit as per the requirements of TCC.

Call For Presentations on TCC papers

We recently have witnessed the interesting and successful collaborations between journals and conferences in other fields (such as between VLDB and VLDBJ). It is the first time, in cooperation with IEEE TCC (Transaction on Cloud Computing), authors of published/accepted TCC papers in the last year are invited to present their papers in *both* oral presentation and poster presentation sessions at the *main conference* of CloudCom 2014.  This offers authors of TCC papers an opportunity to attend CloudCom'14 in Singapore, and increases the visibility and citations of their work.

The poster (e.g., ppt/pptx) will be archived in our CloudCom'14 web site,  http://2014.cloudcom.org/ .  No new publication will be included in CloudCom'14 proceedings. A best poster presentation award will be given by the award committee. Should the presentation be accepted, at least one of the authors must register and attend the conference to present the paper/poster. As the first experiment, CloudCom'14 will accept up to 12 TCC oral/poster presentations. To be fair, we will employ a "first-come-first-served" approach (from now to Sept 1, 2014). Please submit your interest with an abstract registration via https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cloudcom2014 under the track “Invited IEEE TCC Paper Presentation”.  The abstract should be no more 500 words. We will notify the selection on Sept 2, 2014. The poster is then invited to be submitted after the notification, and can be updated till the main conference starts.
